Recovery of NPT tokens sent to NPT contract address

Dear NPT Development Team,

I’m writing to request urgent technical guidance regarding an accidental on-chain transfer on Base involving Neptune Cash (NPT / wNPT).

On 27 December 2025, I successfully made a small trial withdrawal (1 NPT) from Safetrade Exchange to my MetaMask receiving address:

  • Receiving address: 0xf444a1bb891279f1c0af2d42b4424ebc0e56640d

  • TxID: 0x1dc2cf63f9cf3e2da41b6cfa61d77248c26f1eab5730b8bb8f571cc2d51f4ee9

Shortly after, when withdrawing my main amount (359.725 NPT), I mistakenly pasted the token contract address as the destination address instead of my wallet address. As a result, the tokens were transferred to the contract address:

  • Token/contract address: 0x75356eD6aF264c8725bc738b8D1Ece871A52cBD0

  • TxID: 0x7412c1ea4614195b3c2465501bf9465951cf77f4ecda520a236b15f4aa1d29d7

Request:

  1. Could you please confirm whether there is any technical mechanism to recover tokens accidentally transferred to the token contract address (e.g., any admin/owner recovery function, rescue/sweep function, or other supported procedure)?

  2. If direct recovery is not possible, is there an official remediation process (e.g., an internal compensation/mint/burn process) that Safetrade or the token issuer supports for mistakes of this nature?

  3. If NPT has both “native NPT” and “wrapped wNPT” representations on Base, please also clarify whether the above contract represents wNPT and whether Safetrade is the contract operator/issuer on Base.

I understand that blockchain transfers are generally irreversible, but I am reaching out in case the contract design or issuer’s administrative controls allow a legitimate recovery path.

I have also taken the liberty of carbon copied Safetrade Support on this email so all parties can align on the correct technical steps.

Thank you very much for your help.

Kind regards,
Richard Tan

I believe the Neptune (NPT) devs will be unable to assist in this matter, as they/we only write the core software and have nothing to do with wNPT.

It is good you have reached out to SafeTrade. afaik, they are the correct party to be able to assist. I hope you will be able to retrieve your funds.

The exchange Safetrade has developed the wNPT (wrapped Neptune) coin. They are the only ones who might be able to help you.
