Hi, i’d love a high level roadmap on where exactly neptune stands on it’s roadmap to achieving it’s full feature set.
While waiting for comments from the team, I’d also like to hear input from the members here. What do others see as the most important priorities from a roadmap, ecosystem development, and user adoption perspective?
Once transaction chaining and succinctness are implemented, I think the following areas are particularly important for facilitating adoption:
Reducing barriers to using Neptune
- Further improvements to proving: faster transaction creation and lower memory requirements, making Neptune practical on a wider range of hardware
- Mobile wallets for both Android and iOS (note: Android app exists)
- A standardized payment scheme
- Payment plugins/integrations for websites and online merchants
Growing the ecosystem
- A crowdfunding platform to support protocol development and other ecosystem activities
- Activities related awareness and user adoption (“marketing”)
- Additional exchange support and liquidity
What do others think?
i think the biggest thing im worried about is the security risk. you guys should defo pay for some AI backed audit stuff, the same type of audit which found zec’s bug.
i feel like this coin running up to even 100m mcap will put an incredibly target on our back and if we do go that high an inflation bug is unacceptable.
the fact that there have already been i think 2 inflation bugs found is scary.
