The latest release, v0.19.4, comes with a huge improvement in guessing speed. It brings the CPU guessing rate within a factor 3-4 of the best GPU code.

Notice that neptune-core only comes with a CPU guesser. To guess on a GPU, you can use a mining pool.
The Ryzen 9 9900X3D CPU and the GeForce RTX 5050 both cost about 500 USD, and the GPU is only 3.2 faster than CPU. So this CPU guessing might be economically relevant for anyone who has access to a lot of CPUs with AVX512 support.
